When should I download os x yosemite?

Hey

when I try to download os x yosemite it seems that it will take around 3 days even though my internet speed is around 30mb but ti barely reaches 0.5mb I know it's due to apple servers due to the huge number of downloads

so when do you think should I download it to have a better speed? like does it worth keeping my laptop on for 1-2 days to download it or usually it gets better soon?

Give it a couple of days if you're finding the bandwidth to be subpar.

i tried early morning 9 am gmt when everyone in the u.s is sleeping.
off peak hours are your best bet..

Just simultaneously avoid daytime in the US, Europe, Japan and Australia.
Weekends are better too.
