I usually dont start posts like this but here goes.
In the back of my mind, me thinks that Apple's so called faux pas release of FCPX was planned all along.
It smells so much like Apple is letting the other vendors have more fun and with Apple somewhat (too early to tell) cutting off FCP's progress, it gives the others e.g. Avid and Adobe a chance to get back on track at what they do best which is supporting professionals.
In the past, Apple was always an computer computer company with somewhat attempts at software e.g. Hypercard, AppleWorks, etc..
Maybe Im off on this but with all this bad (no such thing as bad) publicity, the others are getting some bonuses for this years Xmas ;)
Im at week two with FCPX and Im loving it.
It wont take over our Avid suite but it will be prodded and poked for awhile :)
