Hi,
How do you think ? Will it be avaliable to buy in Apple Store to 1st October? How it was when the iPhone 5S was sold? When the emotions and the "boom" calm down? 1 week, 2 weeks ?

No clue, no-one knows what the supply/demand numbers are for the different models.

You can usually find stray phones in less densely populated areas though. I walked in and just picked up the original iPhone on launch day without queuing that way.

Typically the lines will be shorter every day, but there will probably be some sort of wait for a few weeks at any store that has inventory. Often, not always, Apple posts a store availability matrix where you can type in your zip code and it will tell you what models and sizes local stores have in stock.

If Apple handles it like they did with last year's mini retina then they could switch to online purchase with in-store pick-up and not allow lines. Mall management hate lines and this is a way to rid them. We'll see if they repeat that process. It worked very well IMHO.

Given the 7-10 day wait for the regular one now, around the 1st of October isn't out of the range of possibility. The plus model I'd be looking at the 1st of December before you can walk in and buy one.
