when to buy a macbook pro...

so the rumors say that macbok pro intel core 2 duos coming out soon...

how much faster will they really be?
should i try and get one this week for around 2300 on ebay, or should i wait for the new ones...
i need one by november 18th
thinnk the new ones will be out by then??

i dont want to spend all that money and then regret it in a week...

my advice: Wait till tomorrow (Tuesday). If the MBPs aren't updated (like MacRumors claims they might), just order the computer. It's an amazing machine, and nobody really needs the new processor.

If you keep waiting, you'll never get a new computer! Get an MBP, load it up with RAM, and have fun .

EDIT: P.S.-> make sure you want a MBP. what do you need it for? I find the MacBook packs a very similar wallop for a much smaller price.

im a film major that just needs it to do light editing and photoshop stuff

i wanna get a 17inch mbp its taken me like 2 weeks to decide, now i knwo i want one, and i just need to figure out when the new processor is coming out and see if its worth it to wait
