When to buy a Macbook Pro

I am thinking about buying a macbook pro for school next year. I have been seeing a lot of rumors saying new MBP's are coming out towards the end of August, early September. I am willing to wait a month or two into school to get the best system for my money, but I will buy one now if all of these reports are complete fakes. What do you think?

Same advice as always. If you really need it now, then buy. If not, then wait a few weeks. There's something in the pipeline (there always is) but noone knows when. Could be next Tuesday, could be months.

If you're really keen on getting one, you should just get one now, and take advantage of the free iPod deal. If not, you should wait, since all rumors point to a major refresh.
