When to buy iPhone 4?

Hi
Last week my girlfriend broke her iPhone 3GS and she's looking to buy a new phone.
She prefers to buy the 4 model because to her the design is better than the iPhone 5.
(I love my iPhone 5 though)
Now I told her to wait, because I think soon there will be a price drop for the 4th generation?
So it would be stupid for her to buy it now...
Any one better informed than me? Is Apple just going to wait until all the 4 models are gone at the same price?

Isn't the iPhone 4 free with all carriers with a 2 year contract? If anything, I'd talk her into a 4S since it's a year more current than the 4.

She'd like a 4S. My mother and brother do, that's for sure.

I would think you could get a good price on a 4/4s right now. Best price would be right before the 5s comes up, but we dont know when that would be.
