When to buy Mac Mini? Now or never?

Is it true that the Mac Minis will indeed be discontinued?

They are pretty nice machines for their size, and while they will be nicer if they come at a faster speed... if they do end up getting discontinued then it would be a good idea to snag one up now instead.

Any thoughts and ideas?

If they do indeed discontinue the Mini what are they replacing it with? The all mighty iMac?

I would have thought that given the level of demand for the mini, even in its current acient state, that if Apple dropped it altogether, the price for any minis left would rise. I hope to be getting one to give to my daughter as a Christmas present so I hope they replace them with something better so the price of the current ones sinks.

If the Mini isn't quietly updated at WWDC along with the iMac, I think we can assume it's being discontinued.

I'd be surprised to see it discontinued without something to replace it. Perhapes the headless iMac is on the way at long last?! I won't hold my breath...
