I'm going to OSU next year and I'm looking to buy a new macbook. Should I buy it now or wait for the rumored update that's to occur July-September? If I wait and the update does come out is the price likely to increase?

Apple has traditionally kept there prices the same with updates but that doesn't mean they won't increase them ever with a new update. It is just something that I haven't seen in the last few updates of many of their products. Of anything they may adjust the price down a bit.

If it were me, I'd wait until after WWDC to buy.

Most likely, nothing is special is happening until 2009 with chipset delays. You can wait for a 5% increase if that is your perogative. Otherwise, I say go buy your macbook if you wanna have fun with it now. (That is what I am doing, only a macbook pro).
