The current imac's are already over a year old. They are using 1.5 year old CPU's. Any idea what could be the earliest realistic time frame that those models receive an update?
Thanks

iMacs just got a refresh last week, modest cpu and gpu spec bumps, and a 5k monitor.

Aside from using the excellent Buyer's Guide here on MacRumors, I would also suggest that you open your eyes and your ears for just a wee-little second...and perhaps you'll realize what's going on around you.

only the 5K is new, the rest are still old.

I am looking to buy a iMac 21.5 once they update it.

What is going on? Do you know when we can expect an updated iMac? Please tell me?

Like you, I also waiting on an updated 21.5 iMac. I was really set to buy a new mac mini and was patienlty waiting for for an update for several months, but after I learnt that Apple took few steps backwards with it, I am not longer interested in it. Let's hope that we do not have to wait a year for an update.
