I'm going to sell my iPhone 3G because I'll be switching to a Blackjack 2. Would it make sense to sell the iPhone now or hold it until the new iPhone come out in June/July. I remember the prices of 2G iPhones went way up in value when the 3G came out, because the 2G could be unlocked.

Tell me what you think

the prices of the 2g didn't go up, they stayed up because the 3g couldn't be unlocked for a while. you can sell a used 16gb 3g for as night as $450 right now. even if a new iPhone comes out, you are most likely going to sell it for more than you paid for it.

I sold mine for $600 Canadian, 16GB/3G/Black

It'd be best if you could take it to the app store, swap it for a refurbished one and sell it as brand new/refurbished, it will make a big difference from one that is used and has dings on it compared to one that has the plastic cover still on.
