'Growl' is installed with Adium. But I don't like it. So I search 'Growl' in spotlight and delete all of them.
But when I clean the trashbin. Notification comes to say something is in used and can't be delete. Several times, not only once, and I always choose the 'Done' option. I'm noticed that some of those warnings contain 'ical' or some other keywords that I don't want to delete.

Now I'm worried about if I have done a wrong uninstall. Did I delet something useful?

If nothing else, just go to the System Preferences and turn it off. It isn't hurting anything by being there (unlike LittleSnitch grrrr)

What don't you like about Growl? You can customize it quite a bit you know.

Really? But I already did it. So will anything be abnormal?

You already did what? I know you said you tried to uninstall it... but are growl notifications still coming up?

Also, if you are on leopard, you can hold ALT while pressing 'empty trash' to have it suppress its messages.

I already delete all files contain "growl".
