When I scroll through my contacts on my iPhone 5 w/OS 7.++, the first name of each contact is bold, but in some cases, both the first and last name of a contact are in bold.

Can anyone tell me why? BTW, I use first, last in display and sort order which I assume is why the first name is in bold, but I don't know why both names are in bold in some cases.

Thoughts?

Both names would be bold if you entered them in the Company field, or put both first and last name in the first/last name field and didn't separate them into the two proper fields.

when viewing my contacts......

Depends how you have it sorted doesn't it? Last, first. First, last etc.

Thank you very much. It seems I put both first and last name in the same field. When viewing these contacts in MS Outlook, I couldn't tell as the contacts in question look like all the others. But when I tapped edit on these contacts in question on my phone, both names were in either the space for the first or last name.

I have no idea how this happens, do you? Perhaps I created their iPhone contact from an email, again, no idea.

Again, thank you.
