When we take off aw does it automatically run energy save mode?

Or the battery drains as we wear Apple Watch !
Do we have to turn off or flight mode?

Looks like your post has auto-correct errors, or mobile typos, or perhaps English is not your first language (which is fine.)
If I understand what you are asking:

When you take off the Apple Watch it will not automatically enter "Power Reserve" mode.
The battery will still drain, but not quite as fast as when you are actively using it.
Hope that helps

what do you do when you don't wear apple watch for power saving.
power off or flight mode ?

I get almost two full days of use from one battery charge of my SE. At the end of Day One I'm usually at 60-65% battery. I don't use it for sleep tracking, so I power down and let the AW rest til morning. I believe that we should occasionally restart our devices like PCs, smart watches, iPhones, etc. so this is my every-other-day shutdown of the AW.

At the end of Day Two my battery is around 15% so I just put in on the Nomad base station and charge it overnight.

I think your answer depends how long you'll be going without the watch. If it's for an hour or two you might just place it in Airplane Mode. If it's overnight or longer you can just power all the way down.

If it is for a short time I don’t do anything. If it is for a long time I just put it on the charger. If I cannot put it on a charger for a long time I just power it off.
Anything else is too much of a nuisance.

I use Airplane mode. It will save the battery and when I'm not wearing the watch, or if I'm in bed, I don't need it draining the battery and/or ringing.
