Is there any sense in asking where it was built? In how many places do they currently have factories?

What?! Shanghai is far from Hong Kong.
The point is someone is reminding us that we should use search before we post because this type of thread already exists.
I was bored and came to this idea to ask other people where their MBP was made. Out of curiosity.
It's difficult for people on the Internets to grasp said humor with any reference whatsoever.
Well, for me it was a reminder to buy AppleCare for my blackbook before the first year is up (next month).

Anyway, Shanghai between 9/24/2007 and 9/30/2007. Pretty cool. I bought it on 10/30/2007 at a sale at my campus bookstore. They didn't have it for very long!

you, sir/ ma'am, have your geography all wrong. lmao. the only shanghai in HK are shanghai fried rolls that you find on the street vendor food carts. i'd know. i've had them and they are delicious.
