Does anyone have an idea?

I don't want/need the full version of Photoshop, but Photoshop Elements 4 is such a slug on my MB. PSE runs much better on my iBook or the old Sawtooth.

3.0 runs much better than 4.0 on Intel Macs (or at least on mine), which is why I didn't bother to upgrade. Plus, I'm not giving Adobe any of my money until PhotoShop Elements is Universal.

Thanks. I'll revert to 3.0 and try it. I don't really like the way the file browser is a separate app. in 4.0

Presumably, PSE6 will be based on CS3, and since the latter is UB, so will the former. Which is the same answer to every other one of the 60,000 threads on this topic. ;) I'd expect it... towards the beginning of the new year.
