when will apple charge my credit card?

Does anyone know, When does apple charge your credit card after you've placed the order for the iphone 7?
My order status says "preparing for shipment". I was wondering when will they charge my credit card?

They probably already have. The status only changes to 'preparing to ship' when they've collected funds.

Sign in to your credit card site and see if the charge is pending. It's a weekend so it won't clear until Monday usually.

I'm seeing the pending charge on my Amex card and have the same shipment status

They usually charge it when it ships or begins to ship.

Same for me, iPhone 7+ 256 from Apple Switzerland. Shipping date express on 16 but still in original state and no credit card charged... I ear it will only when it will be shipped as currently you still can cancel the order, so if it was charged already it will be a mess...
