When will Best Buys have the new MBP/MB?

(Metro Atlanta) Best Buy at Mall of Georgia has New MacBooks only, 11 Miles down I-85, Best Buy at Gwinnett Place does not have any new machines yet, go figure.

Same here, in Illinois we have the Macbooks but not the Pros. Neither are on display yet.

best buy central California, we just got out MBPs in today got the MBs a few days ago. just waiting on some new accessories to use my discount on, ie the plethora of adapters im gonna need.

My local best buy had the new macbooks but no pros, they said they are expecting them this week.

BestBuy usually receives shipments of merchandise on large trucks. As soon as some MB/MBP's are available for shipment to BestBuy stores, one will be en route to select stores. Upon arrival they will be unloaded, unpacked, and put into inventory.

Best Buy order experience

I checked my order status on the Best Buy site and was given this:

Status: 1 item(s) preordered, release date is 10/22/08.

The estimated arrival time is: 10/22-10/30/2008.

When do you think I'll see my order at my front door? I'm aware of the aforementioned arrival dates, but there's also:

The estimated order arrival date for each item includes the time it takes to process and pack your order, and the transit time of the shipping method you choose.

Does Best Buy actually sell any of the adapters a new MBP owner might need?

Heck I haven't seen much in the way of adapters at the Apple Store for that matter.

I have heard "rumors" that the 2.8 will be at BestBuy eventually but not right now.

The only way Best Buy would be getting the 2.8ghz is if it were the base model MBP. We don't have the new display port adapters here, and we have had MacBooks since Wednesday and MacBook Pros since Friday... waiting on the display adapters...
