with bt file transfer the iphone will be a true smartphone and I'll have no need to jailbreak for tethering. When will it come? With SDK?

With the SDK is probubly a good guess.
Im not sure how that feature makes it a true smartphone as just about every phone with bluetooth has that feature regardless of status (Unless you the that a Sony Walkman, Motorola Razr, and Palm Treo are all in the same group).
