Why is it that the cables we use to attach iPhones and iPads to computers are still USB 2? USB 3 is available, and Thunderbolt has been on every Mac for about a year. So why didn't the iPhone 6 get built with a Lightning port that uses the standard USB 2 cable or optional cables for either USB 3 or Lightning? Is this something Apple just isn't concerned about since it wants people updating without cables, or is it not possible to do without confusing wiring?
