The evidence that it's coming is pretty conclusive:
The YouTube based reviewers such as Marques Brownlee, who were given units a week or so ago, make no mention of it, so it doesn't seem active in the macOS 10.13.2 that those units were shipped with.
Tech journalists who attended a recent Apple briefing haven't spoken of it either (it is possible they're under embargo) so it doesn't seem something Apple is ready to promote.
What do you think? Already in the setup screen? Or 10.13.3 in a month? Or 10.14 beta at WWDC?
- The iMac Pro contains an A10 processor capable of running while the machine is sleeping,
- Developer Guilherme Rambo found a setup assistant for "Hey, Siri" lurking in macOS,
- A first impression (iMore) indicated the iMac Pro has 4 microphones mounted in different positions, which should be more than enough for full room, beam-forming pickup (the Google Home only has 2).
