When will iOS 6.1 beta 2 be released?

When does everyone think we will see iOS 6.1 beta 2 and what do you want it to include?

based on the iOS 5.1 betas we should see it this week and include a new feature + bug fixes..

If Apple releases it according to a 2-week schedule, 6.1 beta 2 should be coming on the 15th of Nov.

As to new features, I'll leave it to Apple to decide.

6.0.1 has not fixed enough issues people are experiencing, im guessing no iOS 6.0.2 release since 6.1 is next.

I hope it fixes an issue with brightness I've had, sometimes I'll get a message and the brightness will be significantly dimmer than what I had it set at. Re-sleeping and awaking the iPhone fixes it. Auto-brightness off.


As far as battery life, I've been averaging around 7 hours on wifi with iMessaging, Facebook/Twitter, and web browsing. Hopefully 6.1 will be a little bit of an improvement.

You're talking about 6.01. And unless you're waiting for a jailbreak, update your phone.

I've been having this exact same problem. I'm kind of new to Iphones so I juts thought my hardware was defective.

On beta 2 you can download individual songs from iTunes Match again!! That's a welcomed re-addition

Edit: also they added a 'welcome' pass in passbook with a link to the App Store

I would not expect any new hardware for iOS 6.1.

Possibly along with the new iTunes version that was delayed from last month (and will likely be released sometime this month, perhaps toward the end of it). Alternatively, there were some rumors that it would be out closer to the holiday season--Christmas/New Years--so there's that possibility as well. If not any of those, then probably early next year.

doubt it will be out with new iTunes because that is supposed to be end of november and we only on beta 2 for iOS 6.1 im expecting at least another beta and more bug fixes, features.
