The only issue I have with my IP4 is the proximity sensor and I saw that it will be fixed with the next software update from apple..... Any Idea When This Is Slated To Be Released?

Thanks for the info guys.

Based on what steve said they're "tracking it" They're still in the mode of determining the problem, never mind finding a solution. To that end, I suspect a fix is not immanent

Not sure about this, "Proximity Sensor" Next Software Update!

I would assume that if its not fixed in the next update then heads will roll.... the big screen behind him said it all I think but the only question is WHEN?

This is the only thing right now that's a deal breaker for me. If it's not fixed (which I think it will be) I'll be forced to let it go. New droid x would be ok untill iPhone 5.

I've used the iPhone since day 1 and cant really even think of using anything different, I've got alot of money invested in Apps and LOVE this phone more than anything...........

JUST FIX THE DAMN SENSOR

Im thinking 4.1 will have the fix for the proximity sensor since he said on the next software update, unless there is a 4.1.2 update prior to 4.1 being released.
