When will OS X.2 be available from the factory (w/o having to upgrade with a CD) ?

I'm going to buy an iBook in the very near future and I wanted to know when factory-installed 10.2 will be available to purchase. Will it be August 24th? Or will I have to wait to have it shipped?

not until the end of october...if you check out the "up-to-date" section in mac os x website you will notice that apple is offering the update for $20 on computers bought from july 17 until the end of october....so you will have to wait a long time if you don't want to pay $20
