iPod touch When Will Real iPod 3G Pics Be Released?

How many weeks/days from now will we start to see some real pics of the iPod Touch 3G and when will we know 100% of what the new iPod will feature?

Or how many days before an Apple product is put in stores do we typically get to see the real deal?

I WANT TO KNOW!
 
The official press photos are released during the keynote.

There's no guarantee that any images of the new iPod (or any product) will be released before then. If any spy shots emerge, it can be anywhere from a month to the night before the presentation. And the spy shots are more often than not fakes.

Sorry to disappoint.

No event presently scheduled. As for "rumored features" the sky's the limit, but smart money is to take the iPhone 3GS and delete the phone. Then, take the price points of the iPhone and lower them to reflect the deletion of the the phone. ;)

I think it'll be on the 9th too, because usually the keynote is somewhere around the time the Back to School offer ends - but until there's official confirmation from Apple we can't say it's anything but rumor.
