When will solid state cost the same as spinning drives?

Does anybody have any idea when solid state drives will replace traditional hard drives?

It's now only $600 more to add 128GB SSD to a MacBook!
When the MacBook Air came out less than a year ago it was $1000 more for just a 64GB SSD, so I find this pretty amazing.

What kind of timeline are we looking at in y'all's opinions?

It will still be awhile before the technology comes down to a reasonable price-point.
