If I pre-order one tomorrow for delivery will I get it the 21st? How has it been with previews phones? I have never done that. Usually got to a retail store but work won't let me this time around.

I really want to know it'll get delivered on launch day. Otherwise I pre-order and pick it up later at the apple store. Please give inputs!

You will absolutely get it on launch. The only people who didnt were people who had credit card problems, or initial problems with not completing or finalizing the pre order because of high traffic on the site, or they were too late getting the order in and missed the initial shipment. Yes, you will sweat it out, track it obsessively, and worry that it might not get there. But, it will. Apple is great that way. They hold the phones and ship them all overnight by either UPS or Fed-Ex on the 20th for arrival on the 21st.

Or he'll meet you in the street and hand you a box because were too excited and raced out there to meet him. Not that I've ever done that.
