Thanks. That’s odd, because my contact said it wasn’t available a few hours after the event. Hm

It’s more than that. It’s always been % of price, not a set amount
When I worked in Apple retail, it was 15% for friends and family, 25% for personal once per year per product category, and once every three years an additional $500 “cash” discount off a Mac that could be stacked with the 25%

Yeah 15% is what I am expecting, but apparently not available yet....

Partner EPP is a program for corporations to offer discounts to employees for Apple computers, not Apple employees. It been around years. Yes it gets confused with Apples own EPP.

As I mentioned above, corporate EPP (for Apple employees) was definitely made available on launch day. My friend showed me their order screenshot with the ~25% discount applied because we were discussing the right configuration, so I can confirm this to be true.

Its quite possible that partner EPP and Friends/Family takes longer.

The EPP corporate employee discount might not happen immediately. EDU does. I know when the 24”iMac came out they delayed well over a month. Lots asking in Apple stores when it be available. Just have to access your EPP pricing and wait.
I got my EPP day one. Saved quite a bit on my 16" 10/64/4TB

That is interesting, thanks.
So basically if I am a friend of an Apple employee's, she/he would have to use this EPP and Friends/Family program instead of the corporate EPP, correct?

Based on what I've heard online, there seems to be a limit on Apple corporate EPP usage (possibly one main product per year, but take this with a grain of salt). If that's true, you would need an especially generous friend, but it may otherwise be fine as long as you're not reselling or otherwise abusing the system.

So any word if the friends and family is up? When my friend last checked, it was on there but a note saying that they are unavailable and will be communicated at a later date.
