Does anyone knows when the price will go down in Canada? Can't understand if our dollars worth more than the US $, why is our MAC 200$ more?

argg...:confused:
 
I think it's because Jobs hates Canada. I heard he watched the South Park movie recently.

To summarize: Whenever Apple decides it wants to lower prices, and not before. As long as consumers continue to purchase products at current rates, there is no incentive for Apple or other retailers to lower prices.
Also, please note that the price of doing business in Canada is higher than in the US (for a variety of reasons).
Also note that most other currencies (UK pound a big example) that have been trading at better value than the US dollar for ages still pay more than we Canadians did months ago when our dollar was below the US one.

Exactly. All the more reason why we should buy Windows machines over Macs. Their pricing has dropped like a rock, Macs remain were they've been for ages which only makes them look greedy.
