When will the rMBP be updated?

Hi guys,

I'm starting at a university next year, and I'd like to use an rMBP there.

However, I don't need it right now, as I have an iMac.. But when I continue studying next year, I'll need it.

Do you have any ideas of when the rMBP will be upgraded next year? Before August?

It just came out!

There may be an update next year with the release of the Intel processors. No guarantees of course.

Not surprised that this question is already being asked. I would assume that by next June they will update to the new intel haswell processors. Aside from a speed bump, don't expect anything else. There could be a 13" rMBP by this October, could be a better option for college...but it's only rumored!

I think it'll get a spec bump next year, but it'll be nowhere near as big of an update as this years. If it does get updated, it's more than likely to be updated at WWDC, which is in June. By thus, it would be on time before you need it.

They'll get Haswell summer 2013. Nothing before then.
