When will they start charging my credit card?

I ordered 2 16gb iphones around 12:30 today and the order number isnt active yet. (Is anyone elses?) This is the only email i got

A few questions
1) When will it start the plan
2) When will i find out my number
3) Has anyone elses order number active yet?
 
IIRC, the amount is 'authorized' when you purchased, but not charged until it actually ships.

At least that's what the AT&T Rep told me. She was very clear about it because I'm in that window of people eligible to turn in a recently bought 3GS. They ran my AMEX, but said it wouldn't charge until it shipped out (~23), then would be credited back the full amount when I turned my 3GS into the store.
 
Cool. I was worried I didnt have enough credit left (after iPad)! The card has a relatively small limit. After I did the math I figured that is what happened it all added up. I didn't even think to check my balance beforee I ordered.

I can rest assured :)
