Does anyone know when WatchKit will be available for developers? I'm assuming Apple would want a healthy amount of apps available when Watch launches. Having heard nothing more about it since the September event I wonder if the software is really pre-beta and not ready for developers (outside of carefully chosen ones by Apple).

I suspect they may have an event in the early part of next year. Such as in Janurary when they'll finalise the Apple Watch details, announce a ship date for Feburary/March time, pricing ect. and launch the SDK to developers. Quite possible it will only go to registered developers I think, they won't want anyone being able to have a go at the Apple Watch Dev Apps before they are released.
