Hi all,
I am wondering if anyone has an idea of when they will issue free upgrade to leopard coupons with apple computer purchases? Or does that only happen with vista? Just wondering if it is worth it to hold out a little longer.
Thanks

typically Apple will announce a refund of the OS for people who bought the computer within 14 days of the OS Launch, really it's only going to cost 129 bucks, it that worth not having a new computer to you, if so then wait.

When machines that are shipping have Tiger on them while they have already released leopard. You'll get a nice upgrade DVD which Apple will presumably mail to you or you go pick it up at your nearest Apple store.

Probably as soon as Apple officially announces a release date. Then all computer purchases after that are eligible to up-to-date program which means upgrade disks for shipping costs.

And if you choose the mail option, you will have to pay delivery.

For an educational discount, it's only $69. Sweet.
