Hi, im looking to buy a 500gb HD for my mbp and i only want a 7200rpm one, now i know seagate has one but i really dont like them, i have had a lot of problems with them. i want a WD one.
when will we see a 500gb 7200rpm 2.5 Hd from WD?!?!? its been so long and i cant waittt lol, im running on a 250gb 7200 and have no more space..

if anyone knows please tell thanks! :)

ive done my research and there are no 500gb 7200 2.5" hd's other then seagate.. but thanks
they only have a 320gb 7200 scorpio for a long time now.. no more then that i dont know why

I understand... but the Scorpio Blue offers performance that rivals or beats the 7200's according to the reviews

Plus, it offers less power consumption, less heat, less vibration
If you are stuck on the 7200, then it might be a while, but why wait?

Considering that WD leapt forward to 2TB drives ahead of Seagate, maybe we'll see 640 GB 7200rpm drives?

Or is that still wishful thinking?
