when will we see cheap iphone 5 usb cable?

I need about 4 or 5 cheap USB cable to charge my iphone 5 but no way in hell going to pay $20 for apple brand USB. I know the chip inside the cable is the reason for delay but when will we see cheap cables on ebay?

To be completely honest, even if the makers got it right and the generic charger did work the price would be in the $12 range for now due to the demand. For a few bucks more why not go original?

I too needed a cable, but gave in and bought one directly from apple for my work computer. I would be very unlikely to damage it so it is worth the price considering I will be using Lightning cables for many years.

As for timing, I would say mid November or so..... I am just basing that on whats available today on ebay. Just look at the ship date.
