When I unlock the phone 4 sometimes. The homescreen will sometimes flash. It's for a millisecond but it flashes like a white screen or something. Idk. It's not everyone so I'm prob explaining it wrong

I know exactly what you're talking about. Happens all the time.

It's 4.0 though, rather than the iPhone 4. It was doing it on my 3GS as well.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8A293 Safari/6531.22.7)

Yup happens to me as well.

its only sometimes, but idk what the screen flashing is. is it the last screen we viewed?

This only happens if you are holding the home button and the lock button down at the same time...and when you do that, the flash is where it is actually making a screenshot of your iPhone. Check your photos and you'll see screenshots in there! :)

It is not an iphone 4 issue, my iphone 3G did it with iOS4 CONSTANTLY the first day I upgraded.

My 3gs used to do that all the time on 3.xxx but since upgrading to 4.0 it doesnt do that quick flash after unlocking..

I noticed it first with my iPad and now with the iPhone 4. A fix would be nice, but it's not too bad right now.
