iPod touch When's the new iPod released

Needing a iPod touch really before I go away at the end of the month , any chance the new iPod will be out . If not what features will I likely miss ou on by not waiting thanks

iPod generally releases their new iTouches every September. They just released the 3rd generation this last September.

I would highly suggest getting the 3rd generation. It's not much different from the 2nd generation, but it costs about the same for more memory (by that I mean a 32GB 3rd generation iPod Touch costs about the same as a 16GB 2nd generation iPod Touch...plus with all the upgrades).

September 2007: 1st gen iPod touch
September 2008: 2nd gen iPod touch
September 2009: 3rd gen iPod touch
September 2010: 4th gen iPod touch

I suggest the 4th gen or wait for the new one.

I think its better to wait and get the new one...I am almost certain that Ipod 5G will release this September...There is only one thing in my mind...If they release Ipod 5G in September when will they release Iphone 5... I want to know if there is any relation between Ipod and Iphone release ?
