15" PB: dock on bottom, hiding when not in use. Has about 25 items and takes up the middle 2/3 of the screen when visible

G3 tower: dock on right, always visible

You can position it in different places, and have it hidden, if you want.
You can also set it to magnify, when you scroll over it.

Have I persuaded you into getting OS X, now?

i also have a dual G4 power mac with jaguar and i put the dock on the bottom
