I took over a Mac from a friend who seemingly tried to install some illegal Adobe software and entered an E-License key that was valid but out of date. I'm now trying to install the real version of the software but even though I went through the uninstall I still have the e-license code in the machine and it won't let me install the legal version of the software. How can I remove this old license?

Thanks for any help.

Try looking in the Receipts folder in your user library (or system library, depending on how it was installed). There should be an Adobe receipt there that you can delete before installing.
