After waffling back and forth for a couple years now i have decided to finally get one, a refurbished one that is but they have seemingly disapeared for the last 2+ months off the Apple website? I don't remember this happening before in the previous times throughout the year that i always look in that section.

Are they doing this on purpose to hold out after people buy new for the back to school season? It's getting to the point where I may just get one off of Amazon or some 3rd party. Should they start appearing soon at the apple online store?

Keep checking back as they do show up from time to time.

You can create an alert using refurb.me, but even then you have to buy immediately. They have been selling out in a few hours. There's a real high demand on the referred 15" obviously.

at least in the german store they have them almost daily. they start at 1850,-€

I don't know about other countries but here in the UK they seem to have a few available most days on a regular basis.

I was going to start the same thread. I take a look at what's available from time to time and haven't seen the 15 for a while. Usually you see at least the base model there.

Seems like the pickings in general are pretty lean. My old Macbook became basically unusable. I got a chromebook to fake it till refreshes and its frustrating in a lot of ways.
