Where are backups from a sycned ipad stored + pod casts

Just synced my ipad, though where exactly are the backups on my Mac Pro? I've been looking around though can't see to find anything (id they are there).

And is it possible to find out how large a podcast is (just synced a two hour one yo the ipad) is there a way?

iPod, iPhone and iPad backups are stored in:

/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup

Find out podcast size:

Right click the selected podcast in iTunes and select "get info"

Just wondering, when I look in the backup folder, following the file path. 98% of it is ineligible, its supposed to look like that?
