Hello all,
Installing iOS 13 onto the iPad and iPhone, backups are created locally on the Mac running macOS Catalina. The question is, where are the backups stored now? ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup no longer works in my testing and finding the path directory is no longer there.
EDIT: Solution; if you the system won't allow you to see hidden folders (it's a bug some people are finding) you can do this workaround:
Launch About This Mac, tap storage and bring up the storage manager so you can see files. It might take a few attempts at this as it sometimes hangs whilst trying to load. When it eventually loads iOS Files, it'll show your backups. You will need to press enter to preview as a folder and then double click the folder to launch finder with your folder. Put it into column view. You'll then find the file path.
