Can somebody tell me please? Unfortunately my MBP died in its entirety. Thankfully, I DID have my hard drive backed up, but trying to locate the specific files or folders on my backup disk, so that I can get back to work temporarily using my working Macintosh.

Any help that anybody could offer would be sincerely appreciated!!

thanks,
Mark

Entourage saves everything into the identity. It's located here:
~/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2008 Identities/

In that folder, you probably have a folder titled "Main Identity". On your other Mac, if you're not using Entourage, then you can simply save the file in the same location. If you are using Entourage on that other Mac, then give that folder a different name (maybe "Main Identity from MBP"). Launch Entourage. If it's just named "Main Identity", then Entourage will probably start using it immediately; if not, then you'll be asked to select your Identity from a list.

You can then use Entourage, and everything will be just like it was when you left off. When you get your MBP back up and running again, you can then copy this file back to the MBP and everything will be back to normal.

Regards,
Nadyne.
