Where are my raw video files?

I am trying to back up all my raw movie files on an external disk so that I can then clear some space on my macbook air. I can't find them though? I can see them in final cut pro but not sure where to find them on my main hard drive. Could someone point me in the right direction please?

type in one of the file names in the finder, and you should be able to find it.

Look in the Documents folder. Do you see a Final Cut Pro folder? If so, is there a Capture Scratch folder? That's the default location on my system, but I am running an old version of FCP.
