Where are these located? From doing a search people are saying its in (your account) > Library > Application Support > iWork > Pages > Templates > My Templates.

But there's no iWork folder in my Application Support.

Did the Templates folder move in Mavericks?

Same Problem

Yeah, I have the same problem. When I upgraded, the iWork folder was there still, but the templates would not show up. I had other problems, so I installed from scratch. I then created a temporary Template and the folder was still not there. They must be stored somewhere else... I've tried creating a unique name and searching for it, but nothing. I may need to wait for my Mac to finish indexing though.

Fix

I had the same problem. However, when you try and open the old templates Pages asks you whether you want to make it available in the new version.

So open Pages and then double click on each one and confirm you want it added and they re-appear in the Templates under User Templates as before.

I have no idea where they are now stored though!

They are in: Home Folder>Library>Application Support>iWork>Pages

Note, Home Folder>Library and not Macintosh HD>Library. To see your Home Folder Library, in Finder, click on the Go Menu and press the Alt key. Library will then appear in the Go Menu drop down.

But there is no iWork folder in application preferences in Yosemite? This was the trigger for this thread. The folder that the template usually live is not their in yosemite so we couldn't find out to get our templates in to Pages once we have upgraded. I know how do that now but still don't know where they are stored but I guess I don't really need to until I come to the next clean upgrade.

I've just re-read the thread and you are right! I was searching for the problem I had with templates and yosemite and this came up and I mis-read it as being about yosemite, now I see the post dates and of course it can't be!

Sorry about that, you are absolutely right. In my head can now hear my mum, who was a teacher, telling me to 'read the question carefully'!!
