Where are number of downloads for apps

How can I find out the number of downloads for certain apps? Do the ratings really just count for ratings or is it something I'm missing? I only download stuff that has a lot of ratings but I know a lot of people don't rate stuff. Is there something I can change in the settings. I'm the android store they show ratings and downloads

Apple only do this on the App Store when they are about to reach a milestone. The next milestone will either be 75 or 100 billion app downloads. It depends if Apple will celebrate the 75th billion app download, it'll probably be the 100th billion app download though.
