Where are people's BTO's shipping from? China/US?

Like the title says.

Where are most of your BTO's shipping from? China or the US?
I just talked to a sales guys from Apple, because I wanted to bump my shipping up to Next Day, which he did.

I asked if they usually shipped out of China, and he said sometimes but it wasn't the norm. And they only shipped out of China if they were low on stock in their california warehouses. But I thought most DID ship from China.

BTOs all are built and ship from Shanghai, China. The only time they don't is if you order a configuration they happen to have in stock.

I don't know if they do. It's always taken a few days when I order BTO.

As far as I know they haven't offered people next day shipping on the BTOs for the new mbp. The best they had was 2-3 day shipping online. Maybe it's different if you order at a store....
