My Dad has an iPad and his camera roll is 5.6gb, yet he rarely takes pictures with the iPad. He only imports them from his camera and saves them to the iPad. However it seems it must be saving to camera roll.
The problem with it saving to camera roll, is that his iCloud backup is huge due to the camera roll. Now the obvious thing is to untick camera roll. However is there not a way to choose where to save the pictures? When I import on my iPhone it saves to separate folders, not the camera roll!
