iPod touch Where are the 1000 web apps?

I've found a couple that are cool, but by the sounds of it, I'm missing out, so where are they?
WebApp = Website with iPhone friendly layout.
Ah, so it's really just hype, as all the regular sites I go to work just fine on the Touch.
