Where are the 500ish supposed banks that support ApplePay?

Trying to set up ApplePay with Amplify, it tells me the only banks supported are a list of 8... when are the rest being added? (I know I saw a list on here that they were touting support from about 500 banks....)

Never heard of Amplify. Are they a big bank? Did you get any emails saying that Amplify is participating in Apple Pay?

There are only 6 banks accepting Apple Pay at this time. A few more will join by the end of the year. Apple mentioned in their keynote that there were a lot more interested in being a part of Apple Pay but that is in the near future.

I read an article that the 500 or so local and smaller banks would be rolled out by early next year
