Were there sample files on the Application CDs? On the Tutorial CDs?

If not, you might do well to go to Adobe's site and trying looking there.

Maybe you're talking about something else, but just looking in my various CS program folders in my Applications folder, they each seem to have their own 'samples' folder with a bunch of files in them.

They aren't those either.

The files i'm talking about are in the small workflow booklet you get with the software. They are also used by Total Training in their video tuturial you get free on the last cd as well

Often, the tutorial files are a custom option when installing the software.

Perhaps they're weren't installed... try reinstalling the software checking all the options carefully.

I'll try that but i'm pretty sure i installed everything - i normally look at the custom install when i install anything

But i will try it again - see what happens

Thanks for the help everyone so far

I installed from work, so I don't have the disks here, but I'm pretty sure there was a whole other 'extra material' disk in the suite.

I know where you're going here. Yeah there are 2 cds with the creative suite premium i've looked through these a couple of times.

There doesn't seem to be much on them - just really white papers and plugins :(

Perhaps those files are decompressed & extracted from an archive upon installation...

From what I remember it didn't ask for these extra cds when installing.

Unless these files are hidden - which is possible and cruel.

Have you seen or used these files ? - Its seem really strange that it gives you these tutorials but unlike Computer Arts etc. you can't really follow along with the instructions
